This beautifully figured Big Leaf Maple bowl with a decorative blue epoxy ring that shows both from the top and the underside of the bowl rim. When held to the light the blue epoxy ring looks brilliant blue. The Big Leaf Maple Burl wood was purchased in Oregon. It can be used for serving salads, crackers, chips, and other such items. The bowl is finished with a clear, food safe finish which also enhances and shows off the interesting character of the wood. Clean the bowl after each use with warm water and mild detergent.
