This Modesto Ash vase has a lovely light colored grain pattern to the wood. A highly polished lacquer finish was applied to protect the wood's character and it is perfect for displaying a dried or silk floral arrangement as it's not intended to hold water. The wood was acquired from a huge Modesto Ash tree that fell due to a storm in Alamo California.
