Elm Vase with painted Wild Azaleas

This beautiful vase is made from the Elm wood of a tree cut down in Lafayette California. The well-known local Natural Science Illustrator, Peg Steunenberg from Alamo CA, did the painting of wild azaleas on the vase. This vase is not meant to hold water, but it may be used to display dried or silk flowers or just to admire the beautiful lifelike azaleas and the woods beauty.
